I am a fourth generation Oregonian with a life-long interest in the Health and Wellness field as a product grower, manufacturer and distributor. For a number of years I was the world’s largest producer and distributor of comfrey products. In the early 70’s I introduced direct delivery of a broad line of health products to Northwest Health Food Stores. This close relationship impressed upon me the need for constant and improved ways of supporting our immune systems.

As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala I saw firsthand the ravages of malnutrition and a suppressed immune system. Working with a local school teacher I formed a medical clinic that served our area for several years. Through this clinic I learned much about the need for proper nutrition, potable water and a strong immune system. Having a three year old girl die in my arms at our clinic caused me to devote the rest of my life to working to help children be healthier.

The immune system is our bodies natural defense system. It is designed to defend our bodies against invaders through an intricate system of tissues, cells, and organs. Not eating healthy foods, not getting exercise, not getting enough sleep and being under constant stress can deplete the immune system. A weakened immune system can lead to colds, the flu, or more serious ailments.

I have spent my entire adult life researching and studying the immune system. I have learned that over-use of alcohol, misuse of pharmaceutical drugs, lack of ripe fruits and vegetables in the diet and obesity can all contribute to an immune system that is weakened.

Through this website I am sharing some of my own experiences in the hope that this will help some to strengthen and support their own immune systems. From time-to-time I will also share some information about programs that help provide solid nutrition for hungry children. Over the last twenty years I have presented seminars and workshops on four continents covering various aspects of health and nutrition. This website provides me an even greater opportunity to share some of what I have learned.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,
